Parkland, which is located in the northwest corner of Broward County west of State Road 7 and adjacent to the Everglades, has rapidly developed into an affluent residential suburb of Broward County.  Characterized by excellent public schools and a strong network of public parks, Parkland is primarily a single-family home community that offers older vintage starter homes, ranchettes, gated communities, and several high-end country club communities with private golf courses.  More than half of the single family homes in Parkland have been constructed over the past ten years, offering buyers some of the newest single family home inventory available in Broward County.

Residents of Parkland enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, golf, and numerous athletics.  Zoning regulations within the city have been designed to enhance the city’s proximity to the Everglades and create a “park-like” setting that favors such outdoor activities.
